• Appointed and served on the WA State Board of Education's Science Advisory Panel

• Coached 12 WA State 1A Cross Country Championship Teams to the State title in 19 years
• NFHS (National) Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year for WA State 2012, 2019
• USTFCCCA (National) Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year for WA State 2014
• 6-time WSCCCA (State) 1A Coach of the Year
